Born and raised in Wells, Maine, Captain Michael J. Perkins grew up on the ocean. As a youngster, he learned fishing skills from his grandfather; Roy Perkins Sr. while working alongside his grandfather who was a commercial lobsterman. He worked for others lobstering and spent years fishing on commercial dragger fishing boats before going back to commercial lobstering on his own, something he still does in the winter months. During the spring, summer and fall Captain Mike, a USCG licensed Captain takes passengers deep sea fishing daily aboard his 42′ Bruno & Stillman- The F/V Nor’easter. Completely retrofitted in 2006, the vessel meets or exceeds all relevant United States Coast Guard safety standards and specifications. Bright and roomy, the F/V Nor’easter is certified to carry 24 passengers plus crew. This results in much more “room per person” than other deep sea fishing boats. The F/V Nor’easter is comfortable and very seaworthy. There is a covered wheelhouse and a restroom onboard.
Bring your lunch, drinks and a warm jacket and join us for a day of fun and fishing. We provide all gear and will fillet your fish for you on the way in.
